Even though this piece has triangles in it, it is less simple than it may look.
First, the triangles are multilayered in colors, and it involved using color in a certain way to tell a story.
Next, the triangles are aimed in a certain direction to create movement and balance.
The dashes are doing the same. However, they are also there to create energy. On the far right side, the lines, even hough you can't see where they end, are focusing toward one certain spot in the piece.
Depth is also created through overlapping, and if you look hard enough, you will see through the mess of structure, and see a strong (literal) depth.
You can see, there is a lot of movement, and a lot is happening, here. It is how I feel watching the fireworks.
