My goal is to learn to emote by painting people. I'm guessing it will take about 200 tries. I'm on number 14, so I have a long way to go.
Here is a list of symbols I can and will paint into my artwork:
Angels
dogs
birds
torahs/glowing like a sun or not
people
half bird half angel
trees/tree of life
plants
mezuzah
rivers, people looking into stream
piano keys
clouds
people kissing
people holding hands
sun
moon crescent
stars
rainbow
angel flying to star/other and to touch it
faces/eyes/animals/people
ghost/s
clock/digital/grandfather with pendulum
passage of time
anthropologie anthropology philosophy related
A. web
B. spider on web
C.
soupy night/day
rooster on fence
neighborhood dogs trapped behind gates barking/howling
menorah/ not necessarily hanukkiah
houses/homes with without stuff in windows
dog/animal resting/sleeping/at peace
Shabbat candles
dove
sickle
woman under talit
stars of david/stars
hamsa hand
chai
raven means unclean
houses with bent tall chimneys
triangles and shapes like in my first style
shapes other than triangles, small
The issue I am having with this style is that I have not hit the point where I am looking. I think I have found it but it is a happy medium of the third style and what I was trying to do here. The paintings happy mothers day in my first style is a good example of half of what I am looking for. The other half are Jewish symbols.

At this point, I have created the first layer. Unfortunately, I made the flower pile too centered and too vertical. It makes the entire piece too heavy, and causes the onlooker to move on too quickly. I may be able too fix this by adding flowers on the right side, and having the butterfly person grab more to the left when I work on the next layers.
